Shannon Millikin

Shannon Millikin is a lecturer in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese where she teaches introductory and intermediate Spanish courses and also coordinates the newsletter and the film series. She received her M.A. in Hispanic Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2006. Special interests include second language acquisition and phonology, as well as Latin dance, learning and travel. A great love for people and culture has brought her to many Spanish-speaking countries for work, volunteering, studies, and play. She is also the Technical Coordinator for Spanish 121.
