- Students of Spanish enrolled in Spanish 210 or higher
How to get help
- As soon as possible in the writing process make a 30-minute appointment. You can do this by using the calendar on the Spanish Writing Center blackboard site. For general questions, please send an email to SpanishWritingCenter@northwestern.edu.
What will happen during the appointment?
- Profesora Baena, Denise or Sacramento will mark your grammar mistakes
- She will tell you if the structure of your essay needs revision or adjustments
- Together you will plan future appointments to work on the essay
What you need to bring to the appointment?
- A copy of your essay and your professor's instructions
What you should expect?
- Improvement in both knowledge of vocabulary grammar and writing skills in Spanish

The Blackboard site has grammar excercises with answers, vocabulary lists, style suggestions, writing aids and videos to practice listening skills.
